El Yunque Rainforest is the perfect place to spend some quiet time, take unique photos, and enjoy the vistas from your mountain-top location.

Experience one of the most beautiful spots on the island. El Yunque encompasses 28,000 acres and reaches an elevation of 3,526 feet. The rainforest averages 200 inches of rainfall a year. Upon arrival, you will be taken to El Portal, where you will see a short movie about the forest. From there, you begin your trip up route 191 to Bano Grande, a natural swimming pool, and then you will walk along the Caimitillo Trail for 45 minutes. During this walk, you will be guided through the lush woodlands where you will see nests of the Puerto Rican Parrot, flora and fauna of the Palo Colorado forest, and other forest inhabitants. From there, you will board the bus again and will ride to Yokaju observation tower and La Coca Waterfall.
