You’ll depart from Club Nautico and sail past the picturesque old city of San Juan, passing the historic fortress of El Morro. As soon as you’ve reached the fishing grounds that lie along the north coast of the island on the Atlantic side, you’ll start fishing in water over a hundred fathoms deep. You may stay close to shore or you may go out for five or ten miles, depending on where the captain thinks the fish will be biting.
Your trip will take place aboard the deluxe, air-conditioned, 45-foot Hatteras named the Sea Born. The boat has the capacity to carry six passengers, four of whom may fish at a time. If the boat is not available, you can sub-contract another boat in the area for your group. For your peace of mind, they only work with boats that are documented by the Coast Guard, are properly insured, have all the safety equipment necessary, and have captains who are licensed for charter.
